The best way to farm wow gold in my opinion is in a group I am covering a few good places to farm gold for nice selling items.
First off the best farming for gold group is always a priest, warrior, and mage. The warrior can go in and blow his challenging shout and have all the aggro to the mobs long enough to have the mage come in and wipe everything out. Also a priest with holy nova is a very fun setup with a mage. If you do happen to have a holy nova priest have the priest run in with the mage while the warrior grabs the aggro and just blast everything to death with your AOE spells. While your warrior (or tank) is taking the damage the priest can heal and do damage to the party at the same time, which means less chance of anyone dieing... If you are the priest in the group ALWAYS SHEILD THE TANK and MAGE! With this group setup you can make a lot of cash fast without hardly any downtime if done right. Most of the time people don’t have a holy nova priest, which is actually fine and can still be really helpful to the group by keeping everyone topped off and shielded. Also on the mages they must have the INSTANT ARCANE AOE or else they are pretty much useless for fast grinding. This may also be the best way for a priest to farm for gold in World of Warcraft.
The first major place I would go to and farm with this group is in FELWOOD if your on a PVP server its kind of hard there is always alliance/horde fighting each other there but if you sneak into Felwood and go to IRON TREE CAVERN you can find a lot of elementals which drop LIVING Essences when farming solo you can average about 5-6 a hour... but if you are farming in a group like this you can get one to drop about every 3 minutes if you guys really push it hard. In my opinion, this is the best place to farm gold in WoW.
On the server I am currently on we can sell these for 5 gold apiece which is pretty good. My group of mages farmed 25 in an hour which is outstanding that’s our best ever! Also if your group is getting picked on by the opposite race there is a cave to the north with the same kind of mobs in it you can go in there and farm all day and no one will bug you at all but its really easy to kill all the monsters in there fast.
The next really fun place to grind with this party is Scarlet Monastery this is assuming everyone is around level 60. You might actually have to grab another mage but one usually cuts it if he is decently geared. When you go into the Cathedral just have the warrior round up all the mobs around 10-15 and just AOE the crap out of them. You can usually get some decent drops greens you can disenchant and sell the shards or dusts. Also the green items you can usually get 5-10g on the Auction house just depends on your sever and the inflation of the market.
Now the big killer is going in the cathedral and clearing everything out as fast as possible so you can reset and do it again. It’s just pretty much self-explanatory. Now if you go into the Library there isn’t really that many good drops in there except off the last boss where you get the key for the whole Scarlet monastery setup. He drops a blue or 2 that you cant make that much money off of. I would just grind Cathedral over and over again if you want an easy instance to grind.
The third place you can farm is Uldaman I would go in and just kill all of the minibosses ASAP and start off in the back door it makes everything go so much faster and easier there isn’t really much to say here just take your party and have them slip around the mobs. Plus if you need to get anything off the enchanter this would be a good time while your farming to do it! I would recommend killing Galgan Firehammer he drops some decent stuff to disenchant for large brilliants but sometimes its a pain soloing it. That’s why I recommend the party you should be able to fly through all the mini boss's and not pull any aggro from side mobs and all of that good stuff.
I recommend doing if you’re around level 45-50 is to go farm the lowbie instances for the BOE blue items that are really nice for twinks. You can turn around and sell all of these items for a lot of gold. A lot of people want to buy the stuff for their twinks instead of farming for it. Like any of the Defias set out of Deadmines everyone would love to have it for there lowbie rouge. Especially HORDE players because it’s not as easy to farm without getting jumped 4-5 times trying to get into the instance.
Really any lowbie instances that drop BOE blues is awesome to go and do and get the gear for the lowbies to sell I know it’s repetative and hard. There is a dagger that drops for a level 19 rouge that is outstanding for a twink I have seen go for 30-50 gold easy on my server. The dagger name I do not have right now I will update the guide as soon as I find out.
